Slow Cooker Top Rump Beef


I call my slow cooker my best friend; she cooks while I lounge. This dish is great for days when you want to spend lots of time with friends and family, or just chill out but have a great meal hours later. I put all the ingredients in before going to bed and the next day the house was filled with the delicious smell of beef and lunch tasted great with no work done!



Ingredients
A joint of beef
Peppercorns
Black pepper
salt
1 Large red onion
200g  Baby carrots
100g Green beans
100g Mushrooms
200g Courgettes
200g Leeks
Maggi seasoning
Soy sauce
Eva's Kitchen All Purpose Seasoning
A can of crème of mushroom
Beef cube and 1/2 pint of boiling water

 Directions
Marinate beef join with Eva's Kitchen All Purpose Seasoning, dried parsley, black pepper, soy sauce, peppercorns and magi seasoning.

Chop the onion into quarters and slice courgettes, leeks, and mushrooms and place at the bottom of your slow cooker with the baby carrots and beans.Add crème of mushroom and salt .


transfer the joint into your slow cooker and sit on top of the vegetables.
mix the beef cube with the boiling water and add to the slow cooker. 

Put the lid on and put on lowest setting,  cook for 8 hours approx.
When cooked, slice beef and serve with mashed potatoes and Yorkshire pudding.
