Caramelized Carrots


If you have a sweet tooth you would enjoy this side dish! Its very easy to prepare and is usually complemented with other dishes.


Caramelized carrots can be served with potatoes or rice with chicken breast and green pepper sauce or any a sauce of your choice.
Ingredients
700 g of carrots peeled and cut in desired shape
80 grams of Butter
2 tablespoons of sugar
1 ½ cups of water

Put butter and sugar in sauce pan and cook while stirring until it caramelizes.

Add water to dissolve caramel, add carrots and occasionally stirring until water is absorbed.
